Expanded Dishwasher Recall
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Viking is voluntarily expanding a previously announced recall of Viking 24" wide dishwashers to include certain Model 200, Model 325, and Model 450 dishwashers manufactured before April 1, 2011. Viking will repair all affected dishwashers free of charge in your home.
In certain Model 200, Model 325, and Model 450 dishwashers manufactured before April 1, 2011, an electrical connector to the dishwasher heater may fail, creating a risk of fire. Viking has received reports of 136 incidents involving dishwashers not subject to the previous recall, including 21 reports of fire with property damage. No injuries have been reported. In the previous recall, Viking received reports of 21 incidents, five of which resulted in a fire causing property damage. No injuries were reported.
